Iraqi police find 56 bodies in Baghdad (AP)

A total of eleven bodies were discovered by police in Baqouba Thursday. At least 49 people were killed or found dead around Iraq on Thursday including seven people killed when a motorcycle rigged with explosives blew up in a crowded market in Baghdad's Shiite Sadr City district. (AP Photo)AP - U.S. National Intelligence Director John Negroponte met Friday with the Iraqi prime minister in the second visit this week by a top U.S. official. The unannounced visit to Baghdad comes amid spiraling violence that included four American deaths and the discovery of 56 bodies in the Iraqi capital bearing signs of torture.
